OTS is Orange Tulip Scholarship available in universities in Netherland. Not all of the universities in Netherland provide the OTS. Here are three universities you should check if you want to go there through OTS.
The University of Twente in Enschede
The education on the university use a multi-discipline approach, student-based learning where all of the student’s needs are important, and friend-based learning where each student learn with each other (tutoring a friend)
The University of Twente is located in Enschede. They give OTS for the master program with a minimum TOEFL-iBT score of 90 or 6.5 in IELTS. Currently, the OTS for the year 2018 is closed in the mid-year. So, you have to wait for another chance when the OTS program re-opened in the university.
The famous Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam
Although the name is in Dutch, the university provides OTS for Master’s degree. The scholarship offered by Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is up to 100% on the first year, so if you are qualified you can enter the university with no tuition fees in your first year in several study program. So, the OTS only provide your first year and you have to apply other OTS directly if you are qualified by the university.
OTS is a part of VUFP (Vrije Universiteit Fellowship Program), so the student is required to register the VUFP simultaneously with the OTS. You should know that the OTS should be sent directly to the related local education organization, while the VUFP should be sent to the VU Amsterdam.
Try the Amsterdam University of the Arts for art lovers
If you are an art lover, then you can go to the Amsterdam University of the Arts. The OTS given by the university is Master DAS Theatre. The Master DAS Theatre offers you a scholarship program called dramaturgy of learning for students with a background as theater creator or curator. To get this scholarship, you should have your Bachelor degree and have a working experience in the related field for 3 years. This university is arguably the best in arts compared to other universities in Netherland.
